This is the first pair of Air Jordans that I bought back in 2011. This shoe is a Fusion between the Air Jordan V and the 1977 Air Force 1. At the time, I was still quite new to them and didn't realise how rare it was to find this pair in this specific colourway! The number 23 on the heel was Michael Jordan's shirt number throughout most of his career. It was not his choice of number but his older brother wore the number 45 so he halved it to 22.5 and rounded up. David Beckham said that the reason he chose to wear 23 was because he admired Michael Jordan as one of his sporting heroes! Once I bought this pair, I got hooked and read a little deeper to discover the history of the prestigious Air Jordan brand and how it came about. What do you guys think of this pair?
