Radii Straight Jacket VLC- CNY Year of the Rabbit

These limited edition deadstock sneakers by Radii Footwear were released in 2011 for the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit! Radii Footwear is a popular brand within the skate culture in the United States but blew up when the likes of Jay-Z and Justin Bieber sported them on stage. These sneakers come in a huge variety of styles and some outrageous colourways but I've been a fan of their designs since the very beginning! This shoe was released in the RED/BLK colourway above, and in the reverse BLK/RED as well.

I wanted the red to stand out and was trying to get these shipped from the US to England but the company was not having any of it! So I got them delivered to my cousin's house in Texas, who sent them over with relatives coming over for a visit. The most annoying thing was that these relatives had no idea of the collectible value and rarity of these shoes that they THREW AWAY THE BOX, COLLECTORS CARD, AND KEYCHAIN SO IT WOULD FIT IN THE BAG! Outrage is a very kind word to use for the emotions I felt but overall I was so happy to finally have them after a whole 19 months of waiting! What do you think of them?
